Changing the lives of at risk youth in low socio-economic communities

The Epic Foundation aims to inspire hope, ambition and a prospect of a positive future for the youth of South Africa

At Epic, our focus is on changing lives. By facilitating engagement and connection among our youth and helping them to develop a sense of value, belonging and self-worth, we inspire hope for a better future.

Play4Change provides a variety of fun and engaging sports and activity sessions with the aim of encouraging healthy friendships and lasting connections within the community

13 million South Africans go hungry every week. 3 million of these are children. Statistics SA estimates that there are approximately 20 million children in South Africa, which means 15% of all children in South Africa are hungry. With these devastating statistics, we can’t ignore the critical lack of resources the communities we work with face. Daily Bread aims to address this by providing a lunch meal to each child at every Play4Change and EPIC Arts session. This means that we will provide over 11,300 meals per year.
